BRUSHES WITH STYLE

There I was in a hardware store in Paris just off the rue Fbg du Temple, I am afraid (well not really) that I cannot resist a hardware store.

Wondering around in happy silence, I suddenly come across the paintbrush section.

Well what a marvel of unsung design. Hundreds of the same size paint brushes were hanging together off a board flat against the wall, all the red tips of the handles pointing downwards. It looked like a shoal of fish swimming to the ceiling.

What a wonderful way to display and store. In a another world this would be Arman or another artist earning millions......Damien Brush.
